Services Provided Questions:

Do you have Cash Discounting (Dual-Pricing) or Surcharging where all the fees are covered by the customers?

Yes, we have a compliant program for Dual-Pricing that adds the merchant fees for the customer to cover on all credit and debit cards. We also have a compliant program for surcharging that adds 3 % to credit cards only, not debit cards. We have opt-out options from the terminal to remove the fee for particular transactions of your choice.

Note: It is non-compliant to merely add a % onto the transaction yourself. Non-compliant fees range from $1,000 to $5000 and upwards for transgression if you get caught by Visa/MC secret shoppers or reported by one of your customers.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Maybe yes and maybe no. Some software solutions allow other merchant services providers to integrate with a gateway such as Authorize.net. Others only allow integration with their own merchant services.
