I recently had the pleasure of attending another event with the success club I belong to. It is called the Global Information Network. We study together the principals of Napoleon Hill. We practice the teachings of Dale Carnegie in How to Win Friends and Influence People. We share with each other the books by Esther and Jerry Hicks, more specifically, Ask and It Is Given. And then there is The Secret, in which Rhonda Byrne wrote about the law of attraction.
Being in a convention center with 1,000 like-minded, successful people from around the world, is an amazing energy high. It takes a good two or three weeks to come down from flying around with such a high vibration back to the negativity of our home communities. These successful people I associate with don’t dwell on the news reports in the U.S. or any other country. They are too busy following their dreams and creating their next step in the achievement of more dreams.
You have heard of the Law of Attraction I am sure. In the book it is a concept that whatever you want, or rather, whatever you are ‘vibrating,’ you are attracting to you. The universe always answers YES to your thoughts. If you wake up in a grumpy mood, doesn’t the whole day continue with situations that keep you grumpy? Likewise, if you wake up by reading something inspirational, taking a walk in nature, and telling yourself that life is terrific, the rest of the day just gets better and better.
As a group, we celebrated what we call, Dream Weekend. We share dreams accomplished and big, huge dreams on the drawing board. We shared struggles accomplishing goals and milestones on the way to bigger dreams. We shared our desire to empower others to express themselves with inner gifts. Too often we are told by our families and friends that we ‘can’t’ and that dreams are ‘fairytales.’ I am sure each one of you has heard that as a child, if not more recently. But the fact is, as the late author and speaker Earl Nightingale, declared, “We become what we think about most of the time.” And “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right,” according to Henry Ford. It is the thinking that makes it so. And to sum it all up with, I will refer to a phrase from Napoleon Hill’s 20-year commission from Andrew Carnegie to find the secrets of success, “Whatever the mind of man can achieve, and bring itself to believe, it can achieve.”
A lot of you reading this newsletter are entrepreneurs. I encourage you to cut out pictures of what you want your life to be, and put them on a ‘Dream Board.’ Put that board up in your office or home and look at it every day. You will be amazed how fast they come true! If anyone wants to listen to an audio about this club, please visit ElectronicMoneyCompany.com/SecretsofSuccess.
